Art Basel merges an international selection of top galleries with an exciting program of special exhibitions, satellite and crossover events featuring music, film, architecture and design in three unique cities - Basel, Miami Beach and Hong Kong. The Miami Art scene has become a global phenomenon thanks to the yearly Art Basel Miami Beach fair to be held this December 3-6, 2015. The first week of December is traditionally the official kick-off to the city's busy art and cultural calendar.

Every year thousands of art enthusiasts including gallerists, collectors, artists, and curators flock to Miami Beach to showcase their creative works, sell & buy merchandises, and party. The exclusive exhibitions and satellite fairs throughout the city has attracted tastemakers, celebrities, and the artistic community who come out in full force – to take advantage of Miami’s art fairs, posh hotel parties, private oceanfront events and the cultural activities of the city from Miami Beach to Little Havana. The Art Basel scene has turned Miami Beach into one of the top International art destination to see and be seen.

While the main exhibitions and center of Art Basel takes place in Miami Beach, Miami Art week events will follow in Greater Miami neighborhoods such as Wynwood, the Design District, Little Haiti/North Miami, Downtown Miami, and Little Havana.
